Karen Jones, CEO of Jones Publishing (Citywealth), up for three Stevie Awards this year.

Karen Jones was named a Finalist in three categories in the 13th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. She will learn at the awards ceremony held in NYC whether she is a Gold, Silver, or Bronze winner in the categories Women Helping Women, Maverick of the Year and Woman of the Year.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run – worldwide.  The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 18.  Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S.A and several other countries are expected to attend.   The event will be broadcast on Livestream and the pre-show from the red carpet will be streamed on the Stevie Awards’ Facebook feed.

More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration with such corporate giants as Thomson Reuters and Hewlett Packard among them, in more than 90 categories and from 22 nations

It is now the third year running that Karen has entered and so far won four Stevie Awards in total, including a Silver award in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year category last year.
Her remarkable achievements during 2015/16 - the year that marked the 10th anniversary of Citywealth - such as trademarking the name Powerwomen and her company coming top in the IP 100 League Table as the Best Brand and Reputation IP Asset Class have greatly impressed the judges.

Finalists were chosen by more than 110 business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.  Members of five final judging committees will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging October 17-26.
