Businesswoman of the Year - Karen Jones gets a Silver Award

Here at Citywealth we love giving out awards but we are equally delighted to receive them!

So we were thrilled when Karen got a silver award in the Businesswoman of the Year category at the London Chamber of Commerce SME Business Awards.

The judges were impressed with her achievements in continuing to build and expand her London based company while reaching out globally. During the past year alone, she added Powerwomen Awards USA - hosted in New York - to her range of five annual awards in London, and that champion women in the wealth sector. She also found time to create the
Citywealth Crypto Club, where crypto professionals meet four times a year, as well as the Citywealth Forum where thought leaders discuss important topics relevant to wealth management in a geopolitical environment.

It was a joyous event at the Park Plaza London Riverbank, with high-spirited guests doing the conga, and the Italian chef and general manager singing opera to everybody's delight. Toy clappers were provided on the tables for the guests to congratulate and spur each other on.

The awards were introduced by Julia Onslow-Cole, Chair of the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry. "Congratulations Karen Jones! Your award was just so well deserved! It was a great night and so wonderful to recognise all the achievements of both nominees and the winners" she commented on Karen's win.

Karen's trophy was sponsored by Menzies LLP

As 99% of businesses fall into the small to medium category in the UK, it's good to see the support given to these enterprises in London and nationwide.

This silver award comes hot on the heels of a gold Stevie award that Karen received in November 23, and is the tenth award that she's clocked up since she founded Citywealth in 2005.
