Karen was the guest speaker at the Women's Development Forum lunch in Guernsey, discussing the power of women in business.
The event was sponsored by Saffery Champness, one of the largest independent providers of fiduciary services in Guernsey with offices in Geneva and Zurich.
As founder of the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards, Karen is indeed well placed to talk on the subject.
She was joined on the panel by Lisa Vizia, director of Saffery Champness, and Jessica Roland, managing partner of law firm Mourant Ozannes, both local business women who have been included in the Citywealth IFC Power Women Top 200 List.
Jessica Roland also won the gold award for Woman of the Year: Leadership, at the recent Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2016, while Saffery Champness took away the bronze award for Company of the Year: Female Leadership.
