Grazia magazine launched a campaign calling for Section 78 of the Equality Act 2010 to be enforced, that requires any employer with more than 250 staff to publish annually the details of what their male and female employers earn. The change in legislation won't cover all companies but it is a start.
10,000 signatures are required to change the legislation and there are just over 3,000 signatures so far.
