Speak up. Whether you are a fan of Sheryl Sandberg's (CEO Facebook) book "Lean In" or not, I think she makes some good points. One of these is speaking up and being clear with communication (as I said previously even using more numbers and statistics). Women often prefer to say nothing rather than contribute in meetings or conferences. Be brave. Speak up. It is the only way to get noticed.
