Karen Jones, CEO of Citywealth, gets Gold Award for Leaders List

Karen’s contribution to the wealth management industry has been recognised again this year by the Stevie® Awards, the world's top honours for women entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. 

Karen collected a Gold Award in New York City before more than 500 accomplished women and their guests from around the world.

Her Gold Award in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year category was in recognition of her ability to re-invent herself as a technical entrepreneur, moving away from a traditional publishing role to the digital world with the creation of the new Citywealth Leaders List. Originally created in print format twelve years ago, this 200+ page directory of top wealth management professionals is now accessible online, and allows featured wealth professionals to manage their own profile, award star ratings and leave reviews on their peers’ profiles.

Since its launch in June 2017, the online Leaders List has recorded 12,900 users, and 2,165 profiles, 1,200 case studies and 1,300 peer and client reviews have been uploaded, while 140 profiles have been upgraded for increased visibility.

This annual directory has revolutionised the way wealth professionals can find clients through a simple Google search. And the Citywealth Leaders List has now become one of the most successful searches on Google to find private wealth professionals.

More than 1,500 nominations from organisations and individuals in 25 nations were submitted to the Stevie Awards this year

Nicknamed the Stevies, the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners during a gala dinner at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on 17^th November.  The event was broadcast via Livestream.

It is the fourth year running that Karen and her company Jones Publishing (Citywealth) are recognized for their contribution to the wealth management sector by the Stevie® Awards, considered as one of the world’s premier business awards.

The online Citywealth Leaders List is also shortlisted for the PPA Independent Publishers Awards

and Jones Publishing (Citywealth) has again ranked this year as number one in the IP100 League Table which scores firms on their Intellectual Property.
