Citywealth Appoints New Managing Director and Offshore Business Development Director

Citywealth today announces the appointment of Negin Erfani to take up the role of Managing Director.

Erfani will be responsible for the day to day running of the company and for managing client relationships built up over the last eight years. She will report to Karen Jones, founder and CEO of Citywealth, while taking the reins to drive the company into its next stage of growth

Erfani joined Citywealth in September 2013 from an internet and risk background. Prior to joining
the company, Erfani was Managing Director of Hisas Ltd, a risk advisory consulting business in the UK. She also worked at PointServe Inc, a software house in Austin, Texas, where she was responsible for business development for the Americas.

Karen Jones comments: “ I would like to welcome Negin to Citywealth. Her appointment is an exciting development for the company and will ensure we have the capability to continue to care for our clients in a one on one way and to bring new ideas to the business”

Negin will be taking over from Joe Bell, who is stepping down from his role as Managing Director, but who will remain as a Consultant and a shareholder.

James Isaacs is another new member of the team, joining Citywealthto take over relationships in the offshore market. Originally trained as a historian, he has worked in the wealth management industry for 25 years, with a particular focus on offshore markets and tax structures. Latterly he worked for Legal & General as a business development director with special interest in international and family office issues.
