Karen Jones, CEO of Citywealth, scoops three Stevie Awards in NYC

Karen’s contributions to the wealth management industry have been recognised again this year by The Stevie Awards, the world's top honours for women entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. Karen has again collected no less than three awards in New York City before more than 500 accomplished women from around the world.

Silver Award in Maverick of the Year category
Karen scored above such corporate giants as Thomson Reuters in receiving this award. The judges were impressed by her achievements, in affecting positive change on the wealth management industry and beyond.
Indeed, thanks to Citywealth, top management of global multi-million companies are now eager to be recognised for their contributions to female career progression and their commitment to reducing gender disparity.
The judges recognized that size and importance of the companies involved in the Powerwomen Awards will pave the way for other industries to follow.

Bronze Award in Women Helping Women
It is the third year running that Karen’s achievements in helping women in the wealth sector and beyond have earned her an award in this category. The Citywealth programmes for helping women, such as the continuing growth in importance of the Powerwomen Awards and publication of the Citywealth IFC Powerwomen® Top 200 List have proven Karen’s dedication to the issues women face in the workplace.

Bronze Award in Woman of the Year
Karen at the helm of Citywealth had indeed an exceptional year during what marked the 10th anniversary of her company. The judges were again impressed by her achievements during that year alone, such as her acceptance into the Freedom of the City of London, leading to being granted  membership of the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers, in addition to legally registering the name Powerwomen in Europe as a trademark, and her company being nominated no1 “Best for Brand and Reputation” in the UK in the IP (Intellectual Property) League Table.

More than 1,400 nominations from organisations and individuals in 22 nations were submitted to the Stevie Awards this year
The awards were announced at a gala dinner at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on 18th November.
