CITYWEALTH Tops a League Table thanks to its Intellectual Property

Jones Publishing Ltd, publishers of Citywealth magazine, has been named as the top company in the Best Brand and Reputation IP Asset Class in a league table which has scored firms on their Intellectual Property. The judges were impressed by the company’s active social media use and promotion of its wealth management network through its publications, events and awards.
Citywealth is also listed amongst the top ten in the overall IP 100 League Table 2016.
Sponsored by Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks, and in association with Murgitroyd, the global firm of patent and trade mark attorneys, the rankings are made after firms are assessed on five IP asset classes – Brand and Reputation, Patents, Critical Databases, Software, and Trade Secrets.

Stephen Robertson, director and founder of Metis Partners, the IP advisory firm, said: “IP is a vital measure of the strength and viability of a business. The IP100 is providing a barometer of the importance businesses place on IP. By shining the spotlight on IP-rich SMEs, the IP League Table is providing companies with a much-needed platform to promote IP recognition, IP management and benchmarks them as IP-savvy”
The IP 100 League top listing is further good news for Citywealth that is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2015/16. During this momentous landmark year, Karen Jones, founder and CEO of the company, has been awarded Freedom of The City of London and collected three more Stevie awards - Women in Business, the world’s prime business awards. The Citywealth Powerwomen Awards have also been shortlisted in the prestigious PPA Awards - the winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at The Grosvenor House June 30th.
